"Excellent Architecture" award to Kaleseramik's booth carrying the signature of Demirden | ilio
Kaleseramik's booth design at the UNICERA held in 2021, which focused on the theme of sustainability within the framework of "Care For Your World" movement, was granted the "Excellent Architecture" award at the German Design Award accepted as one of the most important competitions in the world.
Kaleseramik's booth at the UNICERA 2021, of which its design and application were jointly carried out by Demirden | ilio, one of the leading design offices in our country, and Kaleseramik's Concept and Visual Design Team, won the 'Excellent Architecture' award in the 'Fair and Exhibition' category of the German Design Award.
At the German Design Award aiming to discover, exhibit and get to know unique design trends, the applications regarding high-caliber products and communication design fields are evaluated each year.
Details of the "Care For Your World" design
As one of the leading companies in the ceramics and bathroom industry, Kale’s latest booth, of which its design and application were undertaken by Demirden | ilio, met with the visitors at the Unicera fair.
The exhibition design, through which Kaleseramik's "Care For Your World" positioning was conveyed in a rational and innovative way, also reminds us the responsibility regarding the contribution to the relationship between sustainable production and consumption. The structure, for which 80 percent less floor material was used, and of which its 91 percent consisted of recyclable materials, offered the visitors an actual experience.
In the structure inviting its visitors to the main exhibition area with the digital experience corridor where the concept of "Care For Your World" was strongly conveyed, the animation featuring the elements from nature, and the posters specially designed by Demirden | ilio for this project served as effective communication layers at the beginning of customer journey.
While forming the main character of a light structure, the decorative glass that was used on the exterior transposed the experience corridor to the outdoor space with an intriguing effect thanks to its transparency.
While the visitors reached the center of the exhibition area including 3 basic layers through the experience corridor, the living spaces where new products were exhibited reflected the current interior trends, and also served as an outer shell surrounding the booth area.
Kale's environmentally friendly products, its relationship with art and design and its social benefit projects were exhibited along the long wall, which was called "Care for Your World", and encircled the entire booth area. At the center of the booth, there were the areas where new products were abstractly exhibited with a nature stylization.
The “Care For Your World” wall construction, which was designed for reuse, contributed to sustainable space design strategy by offering a flexible and modular structure facility.
The construction, where raw wooden planks were combined with a rational detail and the “Care For Your World” posters that were designed by Demirden | ilio for this project became a natural part of it, created a natural and sincere interaction platform and also offered an actual experience platform in brand communication.
